Ellen was my art teacher and the start of my career in the arts. She was a thoughtful, kind and funny person who was immensely talented. She genuinely changed the course of my life for the better; I'm garteful to hav ehad her as a friend and mentor.

Ellen's passing is a great loss to the National Capital Panthans, the Chicago Muckers, and Edgar Rice Burroughs fandom in general. Rest in peace, Ellen.

My sincerest condolences. As a comic fan and life-long DC area resident, I always felt close to both sisters, even though I never met them.
