I got to know Glenn through his daughter Lori and Chris Preston. Glenn was dedicated to his family, was active in the community and loved sports. We always had interesting conversations. My thoughts are with his family. He will be missed.

Ah, sad news indeed. At our ages I know it shouldn't be a shock, but Glenn was part of life's foundation. We shared school life and each other's lives from elementary through high school -- safety patrol boys, baseball (he was great), arm wrestling, checking out the girls, goofing off in the hallways . . . . There is a brotherly love there . . . and for Sandy. We will miss him, time and distance notwithstanding. Godspeed, brother. . . .

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Compton a couple of times when he visited his son Scott at UMD. He was an incredibly kind and genuine person.

I was extremely saddened to learn about Glen. We were very good friends during our years at Montgomery Blair. We were both baseball pitchers and played on many little league teams together as well as at Blair.
To Sandy and Family, please know that I care and share your sorrow.

Although Glenn and I did not see each other a great deal after our time together at Montgomery Blair High during which time we were pitchers on the baseball team, I nevertheless have vivid memories of him, and of his energy and wit which made him a most entertaining guy to spend time with.
I am greatly saddened by his passing and wish to extend my sincere condolences to his family and friends.
