Anyone who knew Gordon as a lawyer also knew him as a friend. He taught a great many of us what it mean to be a professional -- collegial, genial, precise, and effective. We're worse off without him and his presence.

I'm so sorry to hear of Gordon's passing. He was a fraternity brother of my brother and a true friend to my mother and our family. My deepest condolences to Jean and his family.

Gordon was decency personified. Urbane and dignified, Gordon was at the same time modest and approachable. He was a mentor to many, and a friend to all. Gordon also worked quietly behind the scenes to help his colleagues in needwith no expectation of credit or recognition. A true gentleman, whom we will all greatly miss.
