GREGORY CROFT Obituary


  
GREGORY SCOTT CROFT  
Of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away on March 20, 2013 at the age of 51 from complications of pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his loving parents, Vernon and Lisa Croft; his wife, Dawn Croft (formerly Burrier); his son, Zachary and his fianceé, Chelsea Chapman; his brother, Eric and his wife, Dawn Croft (formerly Schulze) and their daughters, Caroline and Alyssa; and his sister, Victoria Croft. He graduated from Centennial High School in Columbia, Maryland. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps and spent much of his free time as a volunteer fireman for the MCVFD. Greg was an avid Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens fan. He enjoyed scuba diving, soccer, political talk shows, Southwestern art and style, and quality time with family and friends. He was a blessing to all who knew him. Greg will be interred with Military Honors at the Baltimore National Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Maryland City Volunteer Fire Station at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are being made to either the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, http://www.pancan.org or the Maryland City Volunteer Fire Station, 3498 Ft. Meade Road, Laurel, MD 20724. Semper Fidelis, Greg. Cheers.

Dear Dr.Croft & Lisa,
I was deeply saddened to read of Greg's passing.
My heartfelt sympathies to both of you, Greg's wife & family, Eric & his family and Victoria.
What fond memories personally and professionally I treasure especially from Chevrolet Drive,E.C. The memory of Greg will be forever in my heart.
