Helen Ann McGoldrick (nee Walsh), age 91, passed away on January 4, 2019 in Lexington, VA. Formerly of Vienna, VA and Manassas, VA. She was the beloved wife of 43 years to Vincent T. McGoldrick, Sr. who predeceased her and loving mother to daughters Kim and Vern who also pre-deceased her.
She is survived by her son, Vincent T. McGoldrick, Jr., his wife, Susan, and her grandson, Collin. She was preceded in death by brothers Richard, William, Jack and Paul Walsh and sisters Marie, Jean and Nan Walsh. She is survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Born in Dunmore, PA, October 28, 1927. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School and The International Correspondence School in Scranton. Later, she became a military wife and lived in Tennessee and Virginia. She retired following a career of 30 years with the CIA . She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church (Vienna) and St. Catherine of Siena Over 50 Club (Reston).
She was always a family member first - confidant and caregiver to many. She was a loyal friend. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
Visitation will take place at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 West Maple Ave, Vienna VA on January 18, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A Mass celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9970 Vale Road, Vienna, VA 22181 at 11 a.m. A private burial will take place at Fairfax Memorial Gardens.
