Is it too late to share thoughts about Lonie? I typed a memory but was cut off. Please let me know.

I often think of Lonie and the good times we had at Georgetown University’s fitness program. Memories especially came back as I took my sister there on Monday for surgery at the GU hospital. I thought of Lonie and always hold her near in my heart.

Dear Rich,
Jeff and I are deeply sorry for your loss. It is clear that Lonie was a remarkable woman and that you built a rich and loving life together.
Our community is much the better for your and Lonie's many contributions and we are the poorer for her passing.

Lonie, your stamina, determination, and courage to keep going over this last decade is outstanding. You will be sorely missed by everyone who knew you, learned from you, loved you. May you now rest in peace, and know that we all loved you so much... Ett

I will cherish the memories of Lonie pushing us to do more and work harder as we splashed around at her Water Aerobics classes! Always a smile and twinkle in her eye as she told stories and made the workout full of fun and laughter. I'll miss you Lonie - your courage and enthusiasm for life are inspirational. With love to Rich and the family, Amy Solomon

I am so sorry for your loss. It is always hard to lose a loved one in death. Our Heavenly Father is very aware and understands the pain you feel. He will give you comfort (Psalms 86:6,7). Your family has my deepest sympathy

Lonnie was one of the most delightful interesting ladies I have known. Her humour was always evident but the joy in being with her beloved husband was what was so particularly uplifting for all to observe. Her gallantry shown through this miserable time she bore with her illnesss. She leaves a beautiful family and many wonderful memories for her friends. REst in Peace
