JAMES FISH (AGE 77)  

James Fish of Washington, DC passed away at his home on January 9, 2019. Jim grew up in New York, graduated from the University of Colorado, then spent two years in the Peace Corps in Colombia. In 1966 he earned a master's degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Jim spent virtually his entire career with the Office of Management and Budget, National Security Division, where he served as budget examiner for various military programs. In retirement he enjoyed traveling extensively, both in the U.S. and abroad. He worked as a volunteer with Travelers Aid at National Airport for 20 years.
 
Jim is survived by his wife Carolyn Corwin; his sister Helen Marek; his brother William Fish; his nephews Abram and Sam Klein; and his nieces Julia Snowden and Anna and Gabby Fish. Memorial arrangements will be private. Contributions in his memory may be made to the University of California, Berkeley (https://give.berkeley.edu) or The Nature Conservancy.
