Admiral Lyons,
Was gracious enough to take on the role of Honorary Chairman of my Congressional campaign . It was a great honor to sit down with him and General McInerney, to discuss the necessary steps to keep America strong. Our Industrial Might was and still is directly correlated to our Industrial and Manufacturing capacity in all respects. We must rebuild our arsenal of democracy to assure we preserve the country he served and loved so much! May my friend, Ace Aloysius Lyons, the great Admiral , And Father who loved his country and family watch over us as we do all we can to preserve Our Great country he loved! Let us always remember his sacrifice for America! May God Bless Ace and America! I´m sorry that I don´t have a photo of us as i always wanted my relationship to Admiral Lyons about our Friendship and love of our country.

A highlight of my career was working for the “ACE” on the Joint Staff. He was a great guy whom I shall miss.

My family and I had the pleasure of meeting Admiral Lyons along with his wonderful wife Renee and his 2 devoted children Michele and Jim at his favorite restaurant in Warrenton,VA in March of 2017.Being from Canada it was an honor and a thrill to meet the former Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet under President Reagan. The odds of meeting someone like him in my lifetime was slim to none.He was such a wise man that I considered him to be the smartest man in America and my favorite American of all time.It was an honor to call him my friend and if every American was as smart and patriotic as Admiral Lyons then America and the world would be a much better place today.Thank you for a job well done Admiral,Rest In Peace my friend.Sincerely,Richard Eisenberg Montreal,Canada.

Jim and Renee were extraordinary people. I was so blessed, not only to have known them, but to be good friends with two of their children, Michelle and Jim. I love this incredible family so much. Both Ace and Renee were shinning examples of dignity, inspirations, service, and leadership. Their humor and hospitality were boundless. When we lose a loved one, it is so painful, but the knowledge and belief that these two are together again is extremely comforting. God bless.
