ROEMER JANE S. ROEMER Jane passed away on July 17, 2010, after a long illness, surrounded by family and friends and was the beloved wife of Stuart Ammerman, loving mother of Molly Ammerman, devoted daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the State University of NY at Buffalo and the George Washington University School of Law, Jane grew up in New York, but moved to the Washington, DC area in 1974. Jane was a force to be reckoned with, making a true impression on all who were privileged to know her. She was a totally devoted friend to so many and leaves a huge hole in the hearts of all who came in contact with her. She loved Israel and the Jewish people and was a selfless and dedicated professional who always gave of herself to others. Funeral services at Ohr Kodesh Congregation, 8300 Meadowbrook Lane, Chevy Chase, MD on Monday, July 19 at 10:45 a.m. Interment at Judean Memorial Gardens. Shiva will be at the residence through Saturday night, July 24. Shiva minyan will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. Please omit flowers.
