JEAN MINOR
On Monday, March 29, 2021, Jean Deskins Minor, loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away at the age of 89. She is survived by her three children Joseph Minor III (Becky) Vicki Minor (Nicole) Jennifer Gardner (Willis); six grandchildren Willis Jr, Jordan and Lalita Gardner; Briana, Mia and Gianni Jenkins; two sisters, Nettie D Harris and Alma Deskins Amaker and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 9 to 11 a.m. at New Union Baptist Church, 205 Pleasant Street Vienna, VA followed by a private burial. Services by BIANCHI.

She was our neighbor in Vienna. I also taught Science at Lincoln Jr High from 1971-74 where she worked. I found a check where her son was paid to cut our lawn. Great family and friends. Chip, I have the lawn cutting check from July 24, 1971. $4. You did a

Mrs Minor had a beautiful spirit that was always the same whenever you was in her presence. I first met her when I was a student at Luther Jackson High School, then I fellowshipped with her at New Union Bapt Church. May she rest in Paradise. Sending my condolences to her family.
