Dear Tony, Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear mother, who meant so very much to you and your family. I regret that I was out of town last week and unable to attend the services to offer my sympathies in person. Certainly her spirit lives on in you and your siblings of whom she was so very proud. Sincerely, Arlene Norsym

John, I am very sorry to hear of the death of your mother. I met her years ago at your house, and she struck me as being real ball of fire. I saw immediately that you inherited some of your most endearingly irreverant characteristics from her. How fortunate you are to have had such a lady to teach you about life. You and she are in my thoughts. Bill (for Bill & Ann)

John, Tony and Family,
Please except our deepest sympathy and prayers with the passing of your mother. As a child and as an adult,I can remember her strong convictions and sympathetic heart. My mother would often convey her deep respect and love she had for Mary and all the Kokoris'. We will all miss her deeply.
Love and prayers to you all,

Dear Tony & John
Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother. Although I've not seen you since our college days together, you both have gone on to great careers in government and politics.
I am sure that from your childhoods to your fabulous successes, the steady hand of your mother guided you along your journey. From Kentucky Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue; ONLY in AMERICA!

Mary opened her heart to so many people and I am so blessed to have been one of them. One of the highlights of my periodic visits to DC was visiting Mary and sitting in her kitchen discussing politics and world events and how proud she was of her family. She gave great advice to the love-lorn, always over a selection of scrumptious home-made baked goods. Mary was one of those people who transcended generations. Talking to her was always like confiding in a girlfriend. She was pure delight and will be greatly missed.

We will miss Mary's scrumptious and tasty pasta and chicken dishes, her concern for others, and, above all, her captivating smile and engaging laugh. It was a pleasure to know Mary from the early days on Kentucky Avenue on Chicago's Northwest Side through the time she moved to DC to be with her accomplished sons, Tony and John, and their families.

Sandy and I send out our deepest condolences and prayers to both of you as you grieve her loss.
