RICHARD ROBINSON Obituary


RICHARD RATCLIFE ROBINSON   (Age 75)  
Of Washington, D.C. died November 4, 2013. He was born to the late Oswald and Adria Robinson, February 19, 1938 in Trenton, New Jersey. Richard graduated from Gonzaga College High School in 1955 and from Georgetown University in 1959 with degrees in Economics and Military Science. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Paula; his sons, Richard Jr., Mark and Brian; his daughter, Debra Keen; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his sister, Edna Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Richard worked for the US Census Bureau, and served in the US Army for 30 years. He would answer to dad, pop, pop pop, granddad and Colonel. Those who knew and loved him best would describe him as a kind, quiet man who was always willing to help out someone in need. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2800 Pennsylvania Ave., SE, Washington, D.C. on Friday November 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place on a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Diabetes Association. Online guestbook available at: www.KalasFuneralHomes.com
