To the Deering and Horn Families,

I will miss this musical "Diva." And she was a Diva in the most wonderful sense of the word. Shirley had such a wonderful way of delivering a song and making you feel what she was feeling. I loved her for that. She is now with all the other musical geniuses such as Keter, Carmen, Miles, Sara and Ella jazzing up the heavenly landscape. I'm glad that I have several of her CD's to keep her close to my heart in the years to come.

To the Family of "Ms. Horn" --

Thank you for sharing this remarkably talented musical phenomenon!! Her abilities to promote "jazz" were well defined.

Lament, if you must, but then may you find splendor in the fact that she rests well...very much aware she fully delivered to her listening audiences.
