Thelma S. Yeonas  

Passed away peacefully at home on January 12, 2019. She was born in Washington, DC on July 10,1926. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years Steve; two children Stephanie (Richard), and Stephen (Elizabeth), grandchildren, Rich, Jr. (Kim) Jason (Kristen), Victoria, Patricia, and Stephen; great grandchildren, Mason, Abigail, Graham, Madison, Luke and William. Thelma had the spirit of her Spartan heritage; strong, independent, and loyal. Her love of family remains an inspiration to all of us. Viewing to be at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Washington, DC on Tuesday, January 15 at 11 a.m. and funeral service at 12 p.m.
