On Tuesday, July 10, 2018, Theodore K. Smith, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Ted will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mina. Father of Lori (Joe),
Jeffrey (Angela), Hilary (David) and Alan (deceased). Ted will also be remembered by grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Ami, Annadea, Benjamin, and Elyse, great-grandsons, Elijah and Finley, dear sister, Bernice Shapiro, life-long friends and relatives Abbey Brahin, Bernie Weiss, Ann Weiss, Morton Shapiro, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
If there is anything this family stands for and believes in, it is love, and it surrounded Ted. He was known for his razor-sharp wit, his fondness for a fine bourbon/scotch, his kindness, gentleness, sarcasm, and generosity. Loved by all and never to be forgotten.
Funeral service Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. Reception following services at Creekside Community Room, Building B, 2901 South Leisure World Blvd. Shiva Thursday evening at Creekside. In mourning Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday evening at The Greens 4, 15100 Interlachen Dr.
