Of Woodbridge VIrginia, left us on Tuesday morning the of May 8, 2018 after a long illness.
Tom grew up in Falls Church and attended Timber Lane Elementary School and Falls Church High School where he was active in the band. He went on to graduate from Purdue University with a degree in Industrial Education. Tom taught Industrial Arts and Professional Photography at Jefferson and Chantilly High Schools until he retired in 2000.
In retirement he continued to enjoy photography, working with the aeromodlers club, fixing computers for Fairfax County Schools, trips to New York with Bettie and cheering for his beloved Washington Nationals.
He is survived by three brothers and their families.
Friends will by notified of a memorial celebration later this summer.
