Of Frederick, Maryland passed away suddenly on February 20, 2014. She is survived by her son Alexander D. Cornish and daughter Amanda L. Cornish, her parents Wayne G. and Janice E. Beitler, her brother Wayne E. Beitler, and her former husband Arnold D. Cornish.
Born in Annapolis, Maryland on May 29, 1963, Tracey earned a BA from the University of Maryland. She was a Certified Public Accountant and worked for the federal government for many years, most recently for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Tracey was a strong and independent woman, a meticulous problem solver, an avid reader, an eager traveler, and a loving mother, daughter, and sister.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, February 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27 at 11 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 106 West Church Street, Frederick, followed by burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
