Violet Jean Linck  
(Age 95)  

Died peacefully at Riderwood Village on Sunday, July 1, 2018. She was the widow of the late Eugene G Linck, and mother of the late Robin John Linck. She was also the companion of the late Rufus Jacoby. She is survived by sons, Drew William (Nancy) of Cincinnati, OH, Kevin Eugene (Lynn) of Montgomery Village, MD, and Gary Thomas (Nikki) of Woodbridge, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was born in 1923 in Newark, NJ. She worked in her early years for the Prudential Insurance Co. and served briefly in the US Marine Corps in 1945. She resided in Silver Spring for most of her life, and was a member of Good Shepard Episcopal Church, being their secretary for a few years. She resided in Leisure World for 17 years before moving to Riderwood in 2006. Memorial services and interment at Arlington Cemetery Columbarium to be scheduled at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepard Episcopal Church or Women's Marine Association.
