WILLIAM B. DAVIS  

On July 11, 2018 of Potomac, MD; born in Salem, VA to John and Delia Davis. Bill graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Foreign Linguistics and received a Master's Degree in Anthropology from Boston University. Mr. Davis became one of the first five black U.S. Secret Service Agents. He was the founder of Fulbright Commissions in Ghana and Ethiopia and of Wisdom Inc. Preceded in death by wife of 33 years, Iris Spencer Davis and five brothers. Survived by children, Daryl Davis (Brenda) and Shjan Spooner; sister, Carrie Johnson; other relatives and friends. Services Monday, July 16, 2018 Rockville Christian Church, 301 Adclare Rd., Rockville, MD. Wake 10 a.m. Service 11 a.m. Interment Lincoln Memorial, Suitland MD.
