Kenneth S. Harris

HARRIS KENNETH STANLEY HARRIS (Age 66) Of Fairfax Station, VA passed away August 27, 2010 at his residence. Born April 12, 1944, he was the son of Stanley Addison and Thelma Mae Sills Harris. Mr. Harris has been a small business owner for the last forty years in the D.C. metropolitan area. He was also an avid boater and a member of the Occoquan Yacht Club. Besides his parents, Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Capps. Survivors include his beloved wife, Sharman Harris; two sons, Ken Harris of Fairfax Station and Stanley Harris and his wife, Jill of Centreville, Va; one daughter, Catherine Harris of Fairfax Station; his sister, Karen Collins and her husband Ronald of Virginia Beach, VA; and two grandchildren, Addison Harris and Avery Harris. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Manassas Assembly of God, 11500 New Life Way, Bristow, VA. Interment will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax, VA. Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the Manassas Assembly of God, 11500 New Life Way Bristow, VA 20136.
