BARBARA JANE VEE ELY  
Barbara Jane Vee Ely, 72, of Wilmington, NC died on Wednesday May 1, 2013 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center. She was born in Ironwood, MI on September 7, 1940 to the late Frank Vee and Florence Armatoski Vee. She is also preceded in death by her husband George Richmond Ely.  Barbara is survived by one son, John Ely; two daughters, Kara Ely and Alicia Ely; one sister, Bette Jean Vee Bushong; and two grandchildren, Jackson and Cora Ely. She was a longtime resident of Hamilton VA and a longtime member of Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Barbara had over 37 years of Federal Government service including Chief of Facility, JDF Pinegap Australia and Director of Systems Operations Office (SOO).
