JASON PAUL HENTHORN
Jason Paul Henthorn, of Alexandria, formerly of Richmond, born July 4, 1979 in Bluefield, West Virginia, died July 18, 2013. Jason was a 1997 graduate of Monacan High School and earned a B.S. degree in Communications and English from the University of Alabama in 2001. He was employed by The Gap at Pentagon City Mall. Survivors include his parents, Bruce and Pat Henthorn of North Myrtle Beach, SC; his brother, Jeff Henthorn of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; and his maternal grandfather, William C. Corley of Patchogue, New York. His remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2013, at Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church, 1100 Mount Pisgah Drive, Midlothian, VA. Bruce and Pat,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jason. I remember his senior year, and working with him to get services at U of A after his first seizure. Also, when he came to my house to help Bruce paint it that summer. I know it is not meant for kids to go first, but Jason touched many lives in a special way. And, he has left a part of him in each of those he met. My love goes to the two of you, I know you two will find the strength to move on.

Dear Pat, Bruce and Jeff we are so very sad to hear of Jason's passing. We remember his warm smile and the positive way he embraced life. We remember his enthusiasm and kindness when he was Blair's dive coach, also how hard he worked the summer he helped Bruce paint our house.
