JOHN TRIBBETT Obituary


JOHN W. TRIBBETT "J.W."  
Of Burke, VA passed away peacefully at home on July 31, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Janet Unger; his son Benjamin Tribbett; brothers William Tribbett of Greenville, SC, and Gerald Tribbett of Roanoke, VA; sister, Sharon Reilly of Annandale, VA and their spouses. He is also survived by many other loving relatives, particularly his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Eva and Judson Tribbett and brother Hershel Tribbett of Roanoke, VA. J.W. spent most of his career as a certified arborist and landscaper and loved camping, hiking, and fishing. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, in Fairfax VA. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later time.

John was a great outdoorsman. His skills in landscaping were that of a great artist. He will be sorely missed. It was an honor to know him.
