Norma Geraldine Tate  
Departed this life Tuesday, August 25, 2015. She was the beloved mother to son Troy Tate and daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Robert Spaniol. Loving grandmother to her two grandsons. Dear sister to Hattie Dinkins, Ester Dyson, Leona Franklin, Rebecca Chamberlain, Elizabeth McNair, Julia, Paul, James, Daniel, Randolph, and Michael Chamberlain. Norma cherished a host of other relatives, friends, and co-workers. She worked with distinction at HUD for 30 years and Lord & Taylor for 11 years. Norma was an active community advocate involving herself in neighborhood upkeep and security.Norma's mortal remains will be cremated by Pickney-Spangler Funeral Home of Washington, DC. A memorial service will be held September 11, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon at St. Paul Church, 6611 Walker Mill Road, Capitol Heights, MD 20743. In lieu of flowers, the family of Norma Tate requests your consideration in donating to Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS), 301 Stockholm Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. In honor of Norma G. Tate.
