BUSHROD ALLIN Obituary


 
BUSHROD WARREN ALLIN, JR.  
On Monday, October 12, 2015 of Bethesda, Maryland. Warren is preceded in death by his parents, Bushrod W. and Thelma O. Allin. Beloved husband of 57 years of Lois Lamborn Allin; devoted father of Connie Allin and Donna Crowley (Mike); dear brother of Jean Dudrow and Dr. John Allin, and loving grandfather of Katelyn Parsons, Stephen Crowley and Allin Colby Newman. Warren is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was ably cared for at home by Pius Agbor, John Gomez, and Richard Cheruiyout. Warren was born on June 30, 1930 in New Haven, Connecticut and was a graduate of Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, class of 1948. He received his master's degree in fine arts at Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, MI and was an accomplished artist who earned many awards. A memorial service will be held at Chevy Chase United Methodist Church, 7001 Connecticut Ave., Chevy Chase, MD 20815 on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. Private inurnment at Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Warren's name to Maryland Public Television at http://www.mpt.org/support or the charity of your choice.
