I, too, Met David Scott on a trip to Istanbul. He was a vital, enthusiastic participant whose rich insights, and expansive knowledge of theology was a gift he gladly shared with us each and all. May he rest in peace, and may light perpetual shine upon him.

I met Dr. Scott on a trip to Istanbul in 2013. I appreciated the conversations he and I had in which we spent some very fruitful time exchanging observations on our shared trip. Condolences on your loss.
