We are so sorry to hear of Mr. Milway's passing. I'll always remember when I was very young how he came to our house dressed as Santa. As the story goes, I recognized Mr. Milway right away and for many years thought he was actually Santa. I'll also always remember the many times he took us sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mrs. Milway and Jim. I know that my Dad is showing him the ropes in heaven!
Sending our love.

When we first became active in Christ Church, Dan was the financial guru for the church, lending important financial expertise (and reassurance). We will miss seeing him at the early service every Sunday and extend our deepest sympathies to Marilyn and their son Jim.

I've known Mr. Milway since I was a boy. His son Jim is one of my oldest and dearest friends. I remember fondly my father and Dan combing the Baltimore Sun, which in those days had multiple daily editions, for mistakes, misprints and misspellings. They would send Jim and I running back and forth with a marked up newspaper, competing to see who had a greater handle of the English language. It brings a smile to my face remembering how the two of them laughed and laughed and tried to one-up the other.
Susan and I send our deepest sympathies to Marilyn and Jim during this sad time. I am happy in the knowledge that my dad Jim and Dad are together again and engaging in some friendly competition.

Dan was my partner on the 2nd Sunday of every month as we ushered at Christ Episcopal Church. He would greet you with an engaging smile and a warm welcome. I miss our discussions on all the topics under Heaven. Rest in Peace my friend.
