Kuo-Ping Huang Obituary
K.-P. HUANG
On Monday, February 29, 2016 of Potomac, MD. Kuo-Ping Huang was a long-time biomedical researcher at N.I.H., dedicated to the field of neuroscience. Husband of Freesia W. Huang for 45 years; father of Julie Huang (husband, Fred Hsieh) and Bruce Huang; grandfather of Isabel, Colin and Lucas. Also survived by his mother, brother and sisters. Service and interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in the name of K.-P. Huang may be made to the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES@NIH)(faes.org). Dr. Huang you were respected by many and loved by all. You dedicated your life to scientific inquiry and were a man of dignity and integrity. Your life is proof that working hard yields rich dividends, and you will live on in your contributions to science and in the hearts and minds of your family and grandchildren. We will grieve your untimely passing, and also celebrate and cherish our memories of you.
