Dr. MARTIN BERNARD ROSENSKY  
On Tuesday, March 22, 2017, Martin Rosensky died after a long and valiant battle with a rare form of Parkinson's Disease called Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). He was born on August 25, 1937. Son of the late Jacob and Lena Rosensky. Devoted and beloved husband of 55 years to Anne M. Rosensky (nee Kirschenbaum); cherished father to son Michael L. Rosensky; daughter Sheryl (Rosensky) Miller and son-in-law Lee Jason Miller. Cherished grandfather of Lindsey Ariella Miller and Amanda Eliana Miller. Beloved brother of William Rosensky. Also survived by many lifelong friends and loving relatives. Martin loved life, his family and friends. He was exuberant about life and would help anyone in need. He loved travel, symphony concerts, museums, sports (especially baseball), and backpacking The Grand Canyon. Dr. Rosensky was a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps from 1963-1965. He then practiced dentistry in Laurel, Maryland for over 25 years and adored his patients. In his retirement at age 56, he traveled with his cherished wife, volunteered three times as a dentist at immigrant absorption centers in Israel, and volunteered for 14 years at AARP Legal Counsel for the Elderly. He lived each day to the fullest and was passionate about equal justice for all. The funeral will be held at Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County on Friday, March 24 at 10:30 a.m. followed by the burial at King David Memorial Cemetery in Falls Church, Virginia. Shiva will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 8:15 p.m., Sunday, March 26 at 7 p.m., and Monday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at the home of Sheryl and Lee Miller. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to The MSA Coalition , The Southern Poverty Law Center, or Legal Counsel for the Elderly. Arrangements entrusted to Hines-Rinaldi.

Marty has been a wonderful friend and neighbor for 12 years. We enjoyed conversations about his passion for dentistry and love for hiking and camping. He was very special man and always a gentleman. He truly loved and spoke fondly of his wonderful wife Anne. In the next life we'll share another joke and an adult beverage. Here's to you my friend...
