HATTIE DENNIS (Age 96)
Peacefully passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017. Loving grandmother of James Perry, Yolanda Valentine and West Perry. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. On Monday, April 10, friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. at Canaan Baptist Church, 1600 Newton St., N.W. Interment Maryland National Cemetery. It was such a Joyous event for me to spend precious moments with my dearest Aunt Hattie on Christmas day on the phone and recently a visit to her splendid home. Although our communication wasn't routine she actually shared a profound legacy of strength and endurance for which I will always cheerish with continued Light and Love. Kay
