Anne Theresa Fagan  
Born in Thurles, Ireland and living in Reston, VA passed away on July 15, 2018 at Reston Hospital. She is the beloved wife of the late Leonard Fagan and the daughter of the late Thomas J. Egan and Mary Christine Egan. She is survived by her sister, Rosaline Kunick (Bob) and brother-in-law, Al Lavey. Anne is preceded in death by her brothers, Noel, Frank and Thomas and sisters, Marie and Carmel. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Susan Inscoe (Don), Lee Anne Burkett (John), Gail Fagan Ames (Bill) and Carol Fagan; her grandchildren, Megan Seid (Dan), Kelsey Inscoe, Ryan Inscoe (David), Kyle Burkett (Jennifer), Melissa Burkett (Anthony) and Kevin Burkett and 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.Anne met and married Leonard, in England. They eventually settled in the Washington, DC area where they raised their four daughters.Anne was an outstanding bowler and a Lioness. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, traveling, volunteering, listening to music, reading, staying on top of current events, and spending time with her family. She loved clothes, shopping and was a fashionista to the end.Anne was kind, compassionate, generous and never missed an opportunity to make someone's day brighter. She was truly one of a kind who left her mark on this Earth in many ways and through many people.A funeral service will be held at The Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA 22032 on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with burial immediately following. To celebrate Anne's lovely life, wearing of pink or green are appreciated. A reception will be held later that evening from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Reston Lake House, 11450 Baron Cameron Avenue, Reston, VA. Maps to the reception will be provided at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Anne Fagan's name to The Pancreatic Action Network, Pancan.org in honor of her husband, Leonard who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2005.
