RICHARD MICHAEL MURRAY  
Of Richmond, VA, Heidelberg, Germany and Arlington, VA, passed away peacefully, October 4, 2018, at the age of 70.He was the son of the late Richard Fleming Murray Jr. and Phyllis Guidt Murray. Born on July 13, 1948, he was raised in Richmond, VA, where he attended Virginia Commonwealth University. Upon graduation, he began his Accounting career at Coopers Lybrand Price Waterhouse. In 1981, he moved to Germany and taught for Boston University overseas. In 1984, he was employed by the Department of Defense, serving in Germany as a civilian Financial Management Analyst until his relocation to Arlington, VA, in 2004. He remained employed by the Department of Defense until his retirement in 2015.Richard is survived by his wife, Ursula, his sister Nancy and her husband Hank Markle, his brothers Keith and his wife Pat and John Murray, his parents-in-law, Guenter and Elise Weyermann, his sister-in-law Monika Ronig, as well as many nieces and nephews.He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to the American Heart Association and The American Society of Nephrology.
