To Sherry since I knew you somehow, I was so sorry to hear about the loss (to the world )of the indefatigable Harry (and Joy) who sat in front of us several rows at Adas for decades and the when with Lynn both wives friends with my Mother, Mildred Krupsaw, I was so sad to hear of Harry's passing recently but he lived to 100 a milestone (my Mom almost made it: her passing was at 98) 8/2018). Joy stood out for her energy and desire to keep improving herself...having taken up her last momentous career late in life... With the passing of your Dad, An era has passed, Sherry. As I read Consumer Reports recently not recognizing the manufacturers, some of the products even, much less the nature of the options evaluated, or how such horrific recalls (cars that might stop suddenly on a highway, climbing ropes that may break) passed inspection. The times we are now living in, withPandemic and Politics gone awry. I sometimes yearn for the 'simpler' times. My Father, Fulton Krupsaw, and my Mother were friends of your parents for many years. I wish you well and a good mourning because it must have been at least interesting and busy in your home. With all the good things your parents did you should have many happy memories inside you to bolster your spirits Still I know how missing someone(s) feels. Be brave and stay active. After reading so many memoirs, the most recent was EDUCATED, by Tara Westover, that Joy would probably have enjoyed, I hope you are surrounded by those you can discuss such things with. I live in the country, a place much more rural 40 years ago when I came here to marry my distant cousin, Warren Krupsaw and live a more bucolic life (which now cries out for broadband and can't understand the goings on beyond corporate doors that would run a thick Xfinity cable along our road and not offer to connect every resident who would pay a reasonable price for it's services, but take succor in the prospects that I might find out by researching IT, hope you too find succor in the many amazing ways you are special, important and can make an impact.... I liked your Mom, a lot. And your Dad always the energetic, was always smiling and friendly. Let me hear how you are doing if you chose; I read, write and walk everyday and our land is still unclaimed by formal or any gardens in the midst of the everlasting evolution towards what I hope will turn out to be 'a more perfect union in America.' VOTE. I will remember your parents fondly. I am so sorry for your and your families loss.
