Sallie was an extraordinary, real and down to earth woman. Her creative and outgoing personality made all who met her feel welcome and excepted. She filled the role of being a substitute Mom during High school years anytime we visited the Ambassador's residence. Her home was always filled with dignitaries, students and visitors from all over the globe, yet she was never too busy to acknowledge or take the time to get to know you. It has been an honor to have spent 5 years as a neighbor to the Lewis family and to keep in touch over the years.
My deepest sympathy and condolences to Richard and Grace at this sad time of loss.
May Her Memory be a Blessing,
Cheryl M. Cady
