I was extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Alfredia. I knew her for a number of years through our affiliation with Blacks in Government (BIG). She was always warm, pleasant and congenial no matter what the circumstances were. Alfredia's outgoing personality and laughter were often infectious, and I will miss that.
Please rest in peace and may God bless your family and friends during this time of grief and sadness.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Alfredia was always so cheerful when I saw her at New Carrollton; we would have short conversations in the hallway, at the elevators, cafeteria, etc. The memorial service today was very inspirational. May fond memories comfort you at this time.

"Fredia" I will miss you, your beautiful smile that warmed the room whenever you walked in, and your gentle words of wisdom you frequently shared with me. Since the only time that we would have the opportunity to sit and speak and laugh would be at the family reunions, your smile and thoughtfullness would always be one of the images that I would look forward to at each "Pinkett Family Reunion". You will truly be missed. With much Love and Respect, I sadly say Goodby for now but I firmly believe that with God Willing, we will Meet, Greet and Sup together again at the Greatest Family Reunion ever to be hosted. Until then, I will maintain my memories of you and your smile in my heart always. Your cousin,

I am so happy that I was able to get a picture with Alfredia as a retirement present. I learned all about audits from her during the past five years, I have been working with her. She always kept my mother in her prayers and that is something I will never forget. Alfredia will always be in my prayers.

My sympathy to Alfredia's family. On last Thursday I saw her for the first time in a few weeks and she shared with me that she would not be retiring and my response was, "well thats good, for me anyway, because it means you will still be around." Alfredia I will miss running into you in the lobby on our way out of the building to go home. Rest in Peace. God Bless your family and friends.
