Olinski, Edward E.
Edward E. Olinski, 90, Rothschild, died peacefully at home on Sunday, December 9, 2012 under the care of Ministry Home Care, Hospice.
Edward was born August 23, 1922 to the late Matthew and Agnes (Kiedrowski) in Hatley. He married Margaret Wolfe on July 12, 1947 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Aniwa. Edward served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII, serving in the Philippines, Australia and New Guinea. He retired from Reed Lignin as a foreman. He also farmed for many years and enjoyed going to the casino, fishing and traveling.
Survivors include his wife Margaret; four sons, Dennis (Sandra) Olinski, Germantown, Allen (Darcy) Olinski, Aniwa, Gary and Ron Olinski both of Rothschild; two daughters, Karen Olinski, Rothschild and Maryann (Wally) Raczkowski , Kronenwetter; eight grandchildren, Matt (Kate) Olinski, Michael Olinski, Allison (Kevin) Wolfe, Erin (Dustin) Merriam, Laura (Phil) Merriam, Emmitt, Alena and Malek Raczkowski; seven great grandchildren, Brittany, Brianna, Bobby, Abigail, Ella, Elinor and Isabelle; and one brother Frank (Irma) Olinski, Elgin, Illinois.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at St. Mark Catholic Parish, 602 Military Road, Rothschild. The Rev. Allan L. Slowiak will celebrate. Private entombment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.
