Schultz, Michael David
Michael David Schultz departed our world on November 7, 2012 at Duke University Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mike was born May 10, 1957, and was the son of Florence Zank (Schultz) and the late Arnold Schultz. Surviving in addition to his wife, Joanna of Henderson, NC, are his sons: Adam of Minnesota, Jess Schultz, US Army Infantry, currently stationed in Texas, Jeremy and one daughter Beth, both of Wausau. Other survivors also include brothers: Dale, Gary, David; sisters; Sue (Hilber), Cheryl (Forbes), Peggy (Kasprowicz) and 3 grandchildren. Preceded in death by step-father, Charles E. Zank. Mike was employed by International Paper of Henderson, NC. Mike and Joanna founded animal rescue organization "Maws & Paws Ark Inc". Along with caring and finding homes across the country for sick and abandoned animals, Mike enjoyed working in the outdoors at his home in Henderson. Family will have a private gathering at the home of his mother Florence. Funeral arrangements were by J. M. White Funeral Home in Henderson, NC.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I remember Mike and family with fond memorries as I lived one house away from the Schultz's on Ross Street. My heart breaks for your loss,and I pray for Gods hand and guidance during this time.

So sorry to hear the news! I went to school with Mike in the DC Everest school district - Schofield, WI, and he was always such a sweet guy. You have my sympathy.
