Dianne Gene (Bern) Kollpainter, 68, of Mosinee, WI died at her home on January 4, 2013, surrounded by her family.

Dianne was born June 22, 1944 to Gene and Lottie (Mevski) Bern of Evergreen Park, IL. She graduated from Evergreen Park High School in 1963. Dianne married Harry (Skip) Kollpainter December 13, 1963, and was married for 41 years. Dianne had two children, Kimberly and Robert. She and her family moved from Oak Lawn, IL to Mosinee, WI in August 1981. In 1982, she began work at the Wausau School Forest and remained the manager of the School Forests' kitchen until 2012.

Dianne loved her family, her friends, and the family of co-workers at the Wausau School Forest. Dianne opened "This and That from Here and There," a tiny store that specialized in antiques and unique objects.

Dianne is survived by her son, Robert and his wife, Shelly (Button) Kollpainter, her daughter, Kimberly(Kollpainter) and her husband, Greg Tuveson and grandchildren: Danielle Kollpainter, Zak Kollpainter, Erin Button, Travis Button, Magnolia Tuveson, and Rosalie Tuveson. She is also survived by Kate (Schumacher) and Ed Beyn, Cynthia (Schumacher) Phillip and Laura Fitzsimmons, David Schumacher, Steven Schumacher and Mary Schumacher, Sharon (Kollpainter) and Robert Tannura, Carol (Tannura), Joe and Celeste Romero, Bill and Tammi Tannura and Amy Tannura.

Dianne is preceeded in death by her husband, Skip Kollpainter, her only sibling, Dorothea Schumacher, Her father, Gene Bern and mother, Lottie Bern.

Dianne demonstrated a certain zest for life, was loved by many and will be missed very much.
