Kerstell, Michael W.

Michael W. Kerstell, age 47, of Evansville, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at the St. Mary's Medical Center.

Mike was born March 20, 1965 in Wausau, WI, to the late Wayne L. and Martha (NcNorton) Kerstell. He was a 1983 graduate of Mosinee High School and had worked at Wayne's Propane until 1994, when he moved to Evansville. He has been the owner and operator of the Lucky Lady Lounge since moving to Evansville. Mike was a member of the Mosinee Lodge #318 Free and Accepted Masons, where he served as Worshipful Master in 1989. He also belonged to the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite in the Valley of Eau Claire and was a member of Zor Shrine in Madison. Mike enjoyed following sports and especially loved the Denver Broncos. He was a member of the American Pool Association and the Vanderburgh County Tavern Owner's Association.

A memorial service and gathering will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the Lucky Lady Lounge, 523 North Main Street, Evansville, IN from 1 until 6 p.m.

Memorial and Masonic services will also be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Mosinee, WI. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 1 p.m. until service time. There will be a dinner following the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for the benefit of Mike's daughter, Geneva Kerstell.

Mike was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all.
