Virginia Canfield

Weston - Virginia L. Canfield, 89, Weston passed away peacefully on August 8, 2018 at Rennes Health and Rehab in Weston. She was born a twin to the late Robert and Ida (Erdman) Smith in Milwaukee on March 8, 1929. She married Harold W. Canfield on May 26, 1949; he preceded her in death on December 19, 1994. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed singing in Wausau Senior Citizens Chorus, and was a past member of Wausau Women's Club. She enjoyed her trips up north, going to NASCAR races, gardening and being with family and friends. She will be missed so much but we know she is with her Lord.

She is survived by her daughters, Sara (Phil) Duellman, Susan (Kent) Larson, twin sister Barbara Callahan, five grandchildren—Nicholas Jarntowski, Joshua Jarntowski, Lizabeth Larson, Duke Larson and Jacob Duellman—and one niece Katherine Callahan. She was excited for the birth of her first great grandson, Jameson Jarntowski, who will be born in September.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents, and brother Robert.
