Enola was also a hospice volunteer and enjoyed needle work and ceramics.

She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's business, Gaulke Trucking and Excavating Co. She also worked at Larson Cleaners, Wausau Cleaners, Marathon Battery, and Marathon Rubber.

Enola is survived by a brother, Norris Ross of Milwaukee; sister, Marcia Wirkus of Edgar; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Frederich of Merrill, Laverne Johnson of Hungry Horse, MT, and Marian Wozniczka of Wausau; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents, Monroe and Olive; brother, Oliver Ross; several sisters and brothers-in-law; and step-father, William Borth.
