I was watching a re-run of Sanford & Son and Julio Greg Sierra) was in the show. I always loved his acting on that show and Barney Miller. I thought, "Gee, I wonder if he's still alive." The very next day I read of his death! May he RIP

I loved watching Barney Miller and continue to watch reruns when I can. The entire cast complemented each other well. Terribly sorry to hear of Gregory's death. It may be comforting to know that God is close to the brokenhearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Gregory lived well!

Greg was a great guy, believe it or not he used to play roller hockey with us in the 1980’s, at a skating rink in Port Hueneme. He was very humble and approachable, pretty good hockey player too!

Mr.Sierra was a great actor. I remember growing up in the late70's watching Sanford and Son. The episode where he had his goat and Fred Sanford freaked out and supposedly having his heart attack. I don't remember watching Barney Miller. Mr.Sierra was a very good actor and I'll keep on watching my favorite tv show. Or it's one of my favorites. Rest in peace Mr.Sierra You are an in heaven sir and you will be greatly missed and remembered

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Gregory Sierra. I simply adored him on Sanford and Son and Barney Miller, he was also on the Soap tv show and the many other shows I saw him on. He always added so much to any production he was in. My sincere condolences to his family and friends, he was like a member of the family after all the years of watching him.

I'm very sorry to hear of Gregory's passing, although, like most of his fans, I'd never met him. He seemed like someone it would have been lovely to know.

Was a great character actor, original boss on 'Miami Vice' prior to the arrival of Edward James Olmos. Did he begin on Sesame Street?
