Danny Davis Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, M.G. and Daisey Davis; and brothers, Charles, Jack and Richard "Bo".
He is survived by his sons, Max Davis and Joshua Davis; sisters, Wiema and Martha; and several grandchildren.
Danny was loved for his stories. He talked about his adventures growing up in South Florida hunting and fishing with his family. He liked to talk about the times he had attending Howey Academy Military School "Howey in the Hills". He would also tell of the work he did as captain of a tugboat on the intercoastal waterway.
Danny was known for his mechanical abilities, he was good about fixing things. He also had knowledge of plants. He loved animals and they were beside him when he passed away.
The family would like to thank his cousin Linda Vaughn and Elaine Ferguson for helping Danny in his last days. May he spend eternity with the Lord.

To Martha, Weima, Kelly, Tracy, niece, nephews and cousins - I was sorry to hear this even though it had been expected for some time. He was an unforgettable character, a master storyteller, and alligator hunter along with many skills and talents. I'm seeing him and Alice together again, kayaking on the Peace River, bodies and minds whole and healthy once again. I love you all and wish you peace and comfort.
