Peacefully after a long journey with cancer, Ezio passed away at home on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 60 years of age. Beloved husband of Elizabeth for 36 years. Loving father of Carlo (Sammy), Ariana (Stephen). Cherished son of Mirella and the late Gino Visentin. Dear brother of Lorena (Lou) Cerilli and uncle of Stefano (Emily), Sabrina, Ava, Jacqueline and Victoria. Ezio had worked at General Motors for 31 years before he retired in January 2016. An avid amateur radio operator and boy did he love cars! His ability for meeting people no matter where he went and making them friends is a testimony to the man that he was. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Family and friends will be received at Pleasantview Funeral Home, 2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. A private family service will be held. Interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to the Southridge Community Church Homeless Shelter, 201 Glenridge Ave., St. Catharines. I was saddened to hear of Ezio's passing. We shared many deep conversations over our time at GM and I always came away feeling like his faith and family were very important to him. He was truly a good human being and he made this world a better place, just by being in it. My deepest condolences to his family.

My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Ezio at General Motors on Agile block, I was sad to lose him as my Electrician when he retired. I am more sad today to hear that he has past. He was a good man, and will be missed.

Ezio, I have many good memories of us working together at GM. We had a lot of laughs! But the part I remember the most was your kind guidance that helped me become the saved man I am today. God bless you my friend! Till we meet again in eternity.
P.S. Have the coffee and cabbage rolls ready!

Ezio was just a wonderful human being. His love for his family and people in general was deep and genuine. He truly cared about others and spent many hours sowing his heart into those on his path. We had the pleasure of spending much time with Ezio and his family through a season in our life. We always admired the connection they shared. Ezio trained his children up with the same values and life principals he and his wife Liz so believed in. They gave their children roots and they also gave them wings. His legacy will continue through them and our memories we shared will remain in our thoughts and hearts forever. You will be truly missed brother, yet we will meet again. Love, Hugs and Prayers to Liz, Carlo(Sammy), Arianna(Stephen) and the Visentin Family. We are so sorry for your loss and we weep with you. May God supply all that you need in the days ahead through the hands and hearts that surround you. Terie & Tricia Mumby & Family
