Margaret Rose Nyhus (nee Vollmer) Margaret Nyhus of Ceylon, SK., passed away with her sons by her side on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the age of 77 years. She was predeceased by her cherished husband Tristian (1975), parents Joseph and Mary Vollmer, brother John Vollmer, brothers and sisters-in-law Donna (Charlie) Turnbull, Tyrus Nyhus, Walter (Lou) Nyhus, Harold Nyhus, Annetta (Alfred) Lillejord, Doris (John) McKenzie, Ella (Bob) Tourscher, Jean Hlavka, Stella Nyhus, and Willis Ayotte. Left to cherish Margaret's memory are her family. She was the beloved wife of Wilfred for 38 years, loving mother and grandmother to sons Perry (Cathy) and their children Tristian (Jana), Cassidy, and Mason; Bradley and his children Aime (Stewart), Brea (Josh), and Payton; her siblings Frank (Eileen) Vollmer, Alice (Martin) Evaniew, and Joyce (Gilbert) Borle; in-laws Leonard Nyhus, Clayton Nyhus, Muriel Ayotte, Reta (Rudy) Szakacs, and Paul Hlavka; as well as nieces and nephews. Margaret was born in Edmonton, AB., received her schooling at Riviere Que Bar and worked for the Bank of Montreal in St. Albert. She married Tris in 1963. They moved to the Nyhus family farm near Hardy, SK., where they lived until Tris passed away in 1975. Margaret married Wilfred in 1982 and they enjoyed living on their farm near Ceylon until her passing. Margaret's boys were everything to her and she loved her six grandchildren. She was always excited to celebrate all their accomplishments. A Private Family Service will be held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Regina, SK., and Margaret will be laid to rest in Ceylon, SK. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, c/o Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, 200-4545 Parliament Avenue, Regina, SK., S4W 0G3.
