Christine A. "Chris" Ruff

QUINCY -- Christine A. "Chris" Ruff, 62, of 1703 Oak, died unexpectedly at 5:12 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at her home.

She was born June 26, 1953, in Quincy, a daughter of Patrick J. and Doris (Altmix) Ehrhardt. She married Robert M. "Bob" Ruff on July 10, 1970, in Palmyra, Mo. He survives.

Chris was a 1970 graduate of Quincy High School. She worked for over 16 years at Harris, now known as Gates Air.

She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.

Her family was most important to her, and she lived for her two grandsons. She loved to travel, and had most recently been to Boston and Yellowstone National Park.

In addition to her husband, Bob, she is survived by her mom, Doris Buss of Quincy; her children, Robin (Christopher Thomas) Ruff of Monument, Colo., Jason (Tanya Blickhan) Ruff of Quincy, and Michelle Bridgman and her husband, Steve, of Quincy; two grandsons, Elliott Ruff and Cole Bridgman; siblings, Michael "Mike" Ehrhardt of Quincy, Mark (Denise) Ehrhardt of Barry, Cindy Ehrhardt of Quincy and Carrie Ehrhardt of Port Townsend, Wash.; a sister-in-law, Jana (Jim) Wagner of Quincy; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father; her stepfather, Ray Buss; and a cousin, Mary Mizera.

SERVICES: 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

VISITATION: 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, at the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: St. Louis Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
