Agnes Boylen Obituary
Agnes Irene Boylen, 98, of Timewell, died at 12:21 a.m. Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Heritage Health, Therapy and Senior Care in Mount Sterling.

She was born Dec. 15, 1919, in Versailles, a daughter of Harvey Russel and Susie Lydia Turner Jones. She married Cletus Boylen on Jan. 11, 1945, in Brown County, and he preceded her in death on April 2, 1987.

Mrs. Boylen was a homemaker and had attended Council School in Brown County.

Agnes was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Mount Sterling. She was also a member of Holy Family Altar Society and the Brown County Home Extension. Agnes always enjoyed helping with the 4-H Club and Boy Scouts, cooking and attending her family's many activities.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Boylen (Carol) of Mount Sterling and Pat Boylen (Vicki) of Camp Point; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Alta Ransom.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Mass Friday, May 18, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mount Sterling with Father Steve Thompson and Father Thomas Henseler conducting. Burial will be in Mount Sterling Catholic Cemetery.

VISITATION: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Hendricker Funeral Home in Mount Sterling. A prayer service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation on Thursday. Friends may also call from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: St. Mary's School or Heritage Health, Therapy and Senior Care Activity Fund.
