Dolores A. Seliner Obituary
QUINCY -- Dolores A. Seliner, 94, of Quincy, died Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Sunset Home.

Dolores was born April 9, 1924, in Quincy, to William K. and Henrietta (Henry) Ott. Dolores attended Quincy Catholic schools and graduated from Quincy Notre Dame. She married Glenn Seliner on Oct. 27, 1951.

Dolores was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and sang in the choir. She later became a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was a mother and homemaker. She loved to sing and was a member of the RSVP Lampe Hi-Rise Kitchen Band that performed and entertained around the area in the 1980s and 1990s. She also enjoyed bowling, playing cards and spending time with her family. She loved to joke and enjoyed making others laugh. She had a smile for everyone. We will miss her smile.

Dolores' family would like to thank the caregivers at Sunset Home for the loving care they gave her while she was there.

Dolores is survived by six children, Mary (Jim) Brockett of Bloomington, Barbara (Larry) Stoll of Quincy, Angela Lien of Nevada, Iowa, Carol (Dave) Albee of West Palm Beach, Fla., Jerry (Jeannie) Seliner of Quincy and Patty (Vern) Loeffler of Camp Point; 10 grandchildren, Stevie Curry, Tim, Joe and Christian Lien, Kristy (Matt) Brown, Crystal (Shane) Livengood, Christina (Jeremy) Fletcher, Gerry Seliner, Brandon (Liz) Williams and Ryan Williams; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Hubert Ott of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
