Ron was a high school and college classmate. He was always friendly, outgoing, a pleasure to see wherever and whenever we would bump into each other. He had a unique sense of self, and I'm sure was a great father.

A very amusing pitchman! His "hair in a can" was fascinating! RIP.

My deepest sympathies to the Popeil family of their loss. Ron was certainly a charismatic and energized individual, of whom fostered in many products I've enjoy over the years. I used to call him Pompeil in the name of Pompeii, the great volcano as he was a great guy.
