Madeline Passaretti

Madeline Passaretti Age 103, of Brighton, passed away at Mount Auburn Hospital on February 21, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones. Loving daughter of the late Zaccaria and Angelina (DiBenedetto) Passaretti. Sister of the late Alexander and Carmela. Born in the South End of Boston, Madeline later moved to Brighton when she was a teenager; where she lived the rest of her life. She spent her years being a wonderful daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt to her loving family. She was a seamstress and later worked for Jordan Marsh. Madeline loved to bake, knit and crochet beautiful blankets, hats and towels and would donate her knitted and crocheted items to local church bazaars. She was a great friend to all those who were lucky to have known her. She was a devout Catholic and spread her faith to those around her. She is survived by her nephew Robert Passaretti and wife Kathleen, niece Joanne Saluti and husband Robert, great-nieces and great-nephews Christopher Passaretti, Erin Passaretti, Ryan Passaretti, Anna (Saluti) Kirsch, Sandra Saluti, Carolyn (Saluti) Buckley, Elizabeth (Saluti) LaFlesh, Alison (Saluti) Nelson and Andrew Saluti, and 8 great-grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her great nephew Alexander Robert Passaretti. Funeral Mass was held Feb. 26th in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market St. Brighton.
